A limited edition tea towel has a "Père Noël" motif and displays a snowy scene of Santa and a fawn. This woven French jacquard tea towel from Southwestern France is made of 100% cotton, measures 21" wide x 27" tall (53 cm x 69 cm) and is pink with a green stripe. Since 1919, Tissage Moutet has operated their weaving studio which is now headed by the fifth generation, Benjamin Moutet.
The Basque fabric tradition dates back to the Middle Ages when Basque farmers began weaving sun-protecting capes called Saial to protect their cows. This high-quality fabric will not shrink and yarn-dyed colors remain vibrant after years of use. Machine wash and dry.
