"Sardines de St-Jean-de-Luz Gris" motif is featured on French jacquard tea towel from Southwestern France. Made of 100% cotton, the over-sized format, 24" wide x 35" tall (60 cm x 90 cm) is silver grey with black and white detailing. The Basque fabric tradition dates back to the Middle Ages when Basque farmers began weaving sun-protecting capes called Saial to protect their cows. This high-quality fabric will not shrink and colors remain vibrant after years of use. Machine wash and dry.
