"Traditional" tea towel from Southwestern France is made of a heavy weave blend of 50% linen and 50% cotton and is ideal for drying wine glasses and crystal ware. The large format size, 19" wide x 30" tall (48 cm x 76 cm), is cream with white stripes. The Basque fabric tradition dates back to the Middle Ages when Basque farmers began weaving sun-protecting capes called Saial to protect their cows. This high-quality fabric will not shrink and colors remain vibrant after years of use. Machine wash and dry. Ironing is optional.
