Apron in Chevron Honeycomb Cotton by Jean-Vier, "St. Jean de Luz"
Regular price $48.00
"St. Jean de Luz" is embroidered on a French chevron honeycomb apron from Southwestern France. Made of 100% cotton, measuring 28" wide x 35" tall (70 cm x 90 cm) the apron is ecru with French blue neck and side ties, a chef's pocket, and embellished with red and blue woven stripes. The Basque fabric tradition dates back to the Middle Ages when Basque farmers began weaving sun-protecting capes called Saial to protect their cows. This high-quality fabric will not shrink and colors remain vibrant after years of use. Machine wash and dry. Make sure to order the matching tea towel!
